Saturday, Terriers were sadly defeated 2-1 against Saltire Thistle in Glasgow.
Terriers did though start the game strong and could have been 3-0 up with chances falling to Liam Todd & Ethan Nixon in the first 30 minutes.
While Terriers had most of the possession, Saltire did look dangerous on the counter and this is where the first goal came from. A dangerous counter attack which resulted in the Saltire striker slotting the ball past Terriers keeper Mateusz Kiecz.
The next bit of action then was to come in the second half which saw Ethan Nixon pick up the ball from 40 yards out running towards goal past serveral Saltire players then striking it past the keeper.
Now with Terriers looking the most likely to go and win, five minutes later Terriers keeper Kiecz pulled his hamstring kicking the ball resulting in striker Liam Todd having to go in net with 20 minutes to go.
Five minutes later from a Saltire corner Todd then made the save of the game clawing the ball out of the left top corner from a header off the Saltire player. Although, it was a keeping error from the Terriers stand in keeper which saw Saltire go 2-1 up after dropping the ball into the Saltire players feet from a cross.
Terriers did have chances to get back into it in the last 5 though with chances falling to Ethan Nixon, Billy Quinn and Rob Graham.
